The blend used 10% Garnacha, which was made a year after the lots were aged separately. It reminds me very much of the young Ribera del Duero wines of the early 1990s, with some orange peel, earthy and smoky aromas (very soft) and fine-grained tannins. It has good ripeness with 14º alcohol and integrated but very balanced acidity.
